Caller said he was from British Gas and requested security information before he could continue call. When I refused told me that I needed to phone British Gas. I did so on a trusted number and they said could find no reason why they might have called me.

Although polite enough, I was polite on BOTH occasions they called, 2.30pm and 19.33. The above number sent me an sms that has a suspicious link with the message that my PayPal account has been suspended. In order to resolve the issue they were asking me to log onto my PayPal account through the link. I contacted PayPal they said they didn't send any text message and that my account wasn't suspended. So they are scammers based in Kazhakstan.
