Missed a call from this number and can't find any details for it, does anyone know anything about it?

Answered "Hello" on the second ring. No one was on the other end of the call. This is happening often these days.

Caller rings on average once a week, I will not answer it, if its important they ll leave a message on answerphone. I ve tried calling the number back but all I get is a recorded message saying this service is no longer available , very odd. Why don t they take the hint, I haven t picked the phone up because I m not interested in what they have to say and I really DON T want to talk to them - get loads of dodgy calls like this, really annoying

Telemarketers, usual nonsense, I suggest you just cut the call if answered by mistake, block them on the mobile or landline handset if you are able, if you do talk to them then of course ask for your details to be removed etc... Do not behave like the quarter wit above, screaming and shouting at them, it just makes you look like a complete and utter fool and an idiot and in truth there is no reason to behave in such a way, it acheives nothing in terms of getting you out of their database. Said washing machine insurance needed renewal and would write confirming payment after if they could have card details. When I asked details, they did not Know ended call.

Called to offer me cheap phone and broadband services saying they can save me 50% - without knowing how little i m paying already!!!! He got very defensive when poiltely informed him i i wasn t interested, and to be honest he should have stopped at that point, but no, he just kept going on. Cold calling should be illegal as it is more often than not a form harrasement.

Called to say I d had an accident and a payout was waiting for me. I stopped the call at this point by saying I had not had an accident and the payout was not for me. Having said that twice the caller gave up.

Called me about an accident I had on the 2nd March this year. That s news to me so they ve presumably made it up. Hung up when I questioned their information. Their number does not connect if you try to dial back.

Indian-sounding voice (female and obviously not very experienced) announced a problem with my BT broadband. I played along until she asked if I was in front of my PC. When I told her loudly I knew it was a scam, she told me to shut up several times. Ten mins later a male rang with the same story, got short shrift from me. Today it was this Brighton number, previously a Portsmouth one. I get these calls a lot!
