I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. The idea of the scam is to make the mobile owner not pick up, but cost them on their next bill. Even though the caller did not initiate the call, the phone company will state they did. yesterday reported that told them to take us off their list. today had another 3 calls,asked to speak to their manager, whosounded exactlylike the first caller, said if we answered their questions then we could be taken of the list as it would take a while to find us to delete us. SCAM says call is form Carphone Warehouse. When asked where he got my number from, he replied that it was from my network provider. He was unable to tell me who my network provider was and hung up himself.

I had a call from this number asking about an unreported accident. When I asked them the date of the supposed accident they hung up. Obviously a scam.

This may be a scam as the caller did not identify themself and just said my credit card has been used for 2 payments, I think £800 and £2000, and to press 1 to talk about it. I ended the call immediately.

They call you and ask you to chose an option via an automated audio. This will likely re-route your call to a premium number that they own. It is not a legitimate caller so do not answer it.

Text Message saying it was from Hermes and that they had been unable to deliver a parcel. Wasn't expecting a parcel, so went on to Hermes Tracking on a different machine to check the tracking number - needless to say, this number doesn't exist! Obviously a scam.
He said he was from I Smart about my ppi refund!yeah right!He hung up when I asked for the account number and password! Idiot.
Yet another call no one speaking try to ring back and just get music they have rang 9 times in two days from various numbers but same music each time you ring back

30 Oct 2021 - I just got a call saying it was royal mail with a package with unpaid for postage. I asked where it had been sent from and she couldn’t tell me when I said I’d leave it she hung up. Definite scam. Reply

SCAM The lady identified herself as Linda and spoke with an Indian accent, knew my postcode and said she was calling about my boiler cover, which is on a high tariff that can be lowered. I pointed out we have no cover, she tried the spiel asking how old it was. I told her it is only a few years old, paid for outright and under warranty. I told her I thought she was trying to scam me and we are TPS registered. She said sorry you would receive another call.
Claiming to be BT, saying getting reports that my router/internet speed is not as it should be. Spoken English with strong foreign accent.....said something very garbled and fast followed by OK Repeated, when I told him I had not been able to understand what he was saying. Same thing happened on 2nd time of not understanding.....but this time he hung up. Suspect not BT at all.

Received a call from this number on 20/12/14 and let it go to ansaphone as I didn t recognise the number and get a large number of nuisance calls. If people start to leave a message, I pick up. If they don t leave a message (as on this occasion) I check for others experience with the number after the call, and I was not surprised to discover that it s another one of these tiresome attempts to gain access to my computer.
