This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. This is because I am on Carers Allowance. HMRC do not have my mobile number. SCAM

This people are south Asian (their tone is Indian like),They told they are are from Carphone warehouse. when i asked for email and they send me an email from : <[email protected]> which clearly states it is scam. Because if you see the domain name of the email, it is clear that its not carphonewarehouse. Be aware about them and report to police. they have following phone numbers: 020 89544651, 020236957462, 02089544517; 02036956802; 02089544589
