SCAM SCAM FRAUD this is a recorded message purporting to be from the National Crime agency. Claiming my NI number has been used and say try they will suspend it. They want me to contact an officer to avoid my assets being seized!

The reason behind this phone call is to inform you that your National Insurance number will be terminated due to some unethical financial transactions." The recording then asks the recipient to "please press '1' to get more details." The call is a data harvesting or phishing attempt, which could lead to identity theft.

This company is Brightside Insurance. Their address is MMT Centre, Aust, Severn Bridge, Bristol. BS35 4BL. Their direct phone number is 01454 635860. They have recently phoned me several times, always going to answerphone. Today I answered it. They claim to be calling as they say I got a quote from them 12 months ago for Public Liability Insurance - I did not! My number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and as a result I reminded the caller that I should not be getting follo

Repeated calls around lunchtime despite assurances they would remove my number from the list. Both male and female callers with Indian accents, and background sounds like a call centre. Claim to be from ukversa.
+44 161 082 4479 just had a call from this number. It’s an automated message saying I’m involved in tax fraud and I must press 1 on my keypad NOW. At that point I just hung up so don’t know what else was said but I’m sure if I was involved in tax fraud the last thing I would get is an automated message. Please be careful and just hang up and report it on here or anywhere so others can know about it. This is a dangerous call.
