Phoned my landline on 20 Jan. 2023 pertaining to be from Amazon Prime and stating that they had taken £94 from my bank account. I was offered a number of options to query this but hung up as it was obviously a hoax call. Amazon Prime would not contact in this way. They tried again on 21 Jan., this time from a different number 01216834924.

Indian scammers posing as BT tech support. Ask them for your address. If they really were from BT they would know it They will say your computer showed up on their server as being hacked. If that was really the case then why don't they have your address? Ask them for your IP address as the only way your "computer" could show up on a BT server is with an IP address (except BT don't monitor for this sort of thing and wouldn't phone you up about it). 02039418540. Calling my mobile repeatedly. Called back from masked number...and found they are SKS IT Services (there is a UK company listed at companies house but it was dissolved there 12.6.2018). The called did not know where I was from so admitted they are in Bangalore before I pointed out they were using a virtual London number. The only staff was Arslan Majeed who was both secretary and Director. Born July 1983.

A frequent caller, each time with a different number.
Kept asking if I was Mr (Last name), I kept asking who he was. He didn t know my full name which is always a flag. Never told me who he was and why he was calling, he got frustrated and ended the call. No idea who he was but wouldn t be surprised if, like the last comment it is a computer scammer. Number is probably spoofed as well.
