They verified my details, knew my name and every handset/plan I already had, and after a brief chat, concluded that I didnt need anything. I get these kind of calls 1-2 a year. They are a telesales company likely working with EE. There is a lot of negative comments, but this is the way the capitalist world you live in works. Indian callers are using this number to scam people - acting as BT officials and urging the people they call to switch on their computers so they can either fix your internet connection or help you get rid of a virus. Being extremely PC-savvy, I challenged the caller, at which point they disconnected the call.

Keep getting calls from this number over several days and several times of the day. About oven cleaning and BBQ cleaning I just hang up. Have blocked this number on my handset now and reported them to ICO. Are registered with TPS but looks like they only deal with human people phoning you and actually talking to you type of calls.
