It claimed to be from Amazon, saying a large purchase had been made on my account. Press 1 for information. I put the phone down. On checking my Amazon account, all the purchases were correct. This was a scam

Wanted to talk to the phone bill payer and thought this was a home number. When advised it was a business they politely disengaged.

Pretended they knew who I was and that they had a PPI payment for me if I would just confirm my details. Needless to say they hadn t and I didn t. They didn t even know my name.

This number kept calling me and there was just silence at the other end whenever I answered. Once there was a man s voice saying "hello?" but the following calls were just silence. Either it s a hoax or someone who can t work a phone well!

Lady called, knew my name and address, very noisy line, said I would be getting letter in post and that I was due a refund on credit card. I asked what credit card and she couldn t answer just asked if I d had a credit card before 2009 I said no and she hung up!

This number keeps ringing me & hanging up before the voicemail answers. Other searches seem to point towards this number being spam.
