I was sent the following message on this number: Hi mum I'm texting you off a friends phone l've smashed mine and their phones about to die, can you WhatsApp my new number 07598351462 x The message was not sent by anyone I know.

Had 2 calls and both at 10.42 am one day and 10.43am the other following day . I used a land line that does not show its number to call back and the number does not accept call back . I block these pest numbers on my Mobil once I know they are spam . This number is spam and now blocked .
Whoever this was purported to be my son and wanted me to call back. Didn't as there were at least 2 red flags.

This is because your insurer has sold on your contact details to this third party who will try to get you to make accident claims for a cut of the payout. A automated message saying "This is your bank" They go on to say that three withdrawals are due to be taken from my account. It is obviously a scam. I just put my phone down.
SPAM. Nigel Frank recruitment these folk call your mobile usually during work meeting times (9-10) and think it's acceptable to keep your phone ringing for 30sec. Knowing you've probably muted the call with the intention of putting your phone to silent when they eventually abandon the call they'll immediately radial so you cant do this, to annoy you again, which is a bit controlling. Despite telling them you've started a new job, they continue to pester you every month.
