Generally when there s a long pause before they answer, it s safe to say it s a call centre that I m going to have zero interest in talking to. Whistle loudly down the phone. They don t tend to call back again. ;)

absolute nightmare. called about 10 times a week from different numbers, even though i block the new number everytime. Asked them to take the number off the list.

Call from Swiftcover, sales call about an accident. Getting really fed of up of being pestered by sales companies.

I think this number belongs to a group of scammers? Can anyone confirm?

Keeps phoning and hanging up

Called my mobile with a bedford code so thought it was a local call (live in beds) However when I answered it the line was silent "no one spoke". Will no block!

Selling caravan on gumtree amongst other sites, received text message asking me to email further information with an address. Email replied immediately saying wanted to do PayPal transaction in full no questions asked. I emailed back not interested in a scam. Reporting to PayPal. Don t touch with a barge pole definitely a scam!!!

I had a call on my phone after activating my SIM which had been dormant for 12 months with Orange/EE They did not leave a message. Strange they got my number 24hrs after reactivating SIM!!!

PPI company that cons you into signing up with them and then takes 30% of whatever they find for you, as payment. They also use a computer dialer that calls numbers and then hangs up on you if an operator is not available to talk at you

I have been getting calls and text messages from this company they have also left me voice mails demanding I phone them . When I looked online it says they are from a catalog . I have never had a catalogue. And it can t be from tv license because I live with my mum and she pays all the tv license bill . Same story. About a road accident I had but caller was from Liverpool and they used an 01462 area code. Trying to get me to claim for unnecessary whip lash etc, I suspect. Blocked.

Called today, asked for me by name (worrying as he said he got my number from price comparison sites, not possible as I always give 999999etc) said he was phoning to overhaul my life insurance .I have been registered with TPS and ex directory for decades.

blocking it does not stop it. Why?
