I had one of these...Alert Credit card has been compromised dial....did so and got sorry.... all operatives busy.... and music...wondered if we are charged for the phone call?put the phone down and checked here...
They rang me saying that they calling on behalf of MBNA and they owed me some money and wanted my details. As soon as I said I don't give my details over the phone and asked them to write to me they disconnected the call immediately!!! An obvious con. I called them back and they answered the phone as Red Star. I've blocked them.
