SCAM- Usual, increasingly repetitive and tedious recorded call claiming to be from BT who are, shock, horror, swoon, about to cut off my internet. Crooks. Sworn at (not that anyone would have heard me but it felt good!) and call-barred, with pleasure. Keep on trying you f*****s, you'll never get anywhere here.....
Same as others experiences here. I received calls from English speaking Indian males and females saying they are calling from Virgin Media and investigating a fault with my internet broadband. They are so obviously not from VM. I challenge them and they always hang up. As with all the other cases I had previously reported an issue to the real VM line which had already been resolved by an engineer that visited me. There must be someone at the VM call centre passing numbers and details on to these scammers. I

Call center to my business number (which I never give out as its just for my colleagues to call me on... so how they got it I dont know) Claimed to be "Global Tech Insights on behalf of Tableau software" talking about some white paper or other... couldnt find anything about Global Tech Insights whilst I was on the call... so maybe using the latter (Tableau software) to cajole authenticity.
