I asked her to slow down as I could not hear her properly - she went on talking very quickly and when I said "Stop and tell me what you are talking about" She then seemed to bang the phone down.

I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.

This number was used for a scam call supposedly from BT Internet. I think it is probably an ordinary valid number, Scammers seem able to hijack numbers and this is one of several received recently from other members

This phone number rang me this morning on my house phone Asian person ask me question but I could not hear properly as I am deaf and very breathless as I've just not long had a heart attack as I was on the phone my son came in a took the phone out of my hand the person on the phone said he will be turning my Internet off, my son said he told him he won't be turning my dad's Internet off and your a con merchant and put the phone down

SCAM I have this afternoon received a telephone call purporting to be National Grid Meter Department and confirming a date and time to change meter as they said it was over charging. Received call today showing this number, 01900 632310, on my phone. I did not answer it and they did not leave a message on my answering machine. After the call ended the number changed to 00632310. After I blocked the number it changed again to 07808 582578. This is clearly a scam number and very dangerous.

They claim that my internet connection has suspicious activity. This is just a dangerous scam
