A call saying I may qualify for a free medi alert. Asked if over 50, did I need a walking stick and did I have health problems. When I answered no they put the phone down. Scam?
SCAM. Asian male called "Mike" rang saying he was from TPS and asking if I was receiving a lot of nuisance calls. Told him yes, including him, & put the phone down. Really don't think TPS will be auto-ringing from a call centre!

Been having these people call non stop twice a day! I have blocked over 15 numbers which they use since they bombard me with texts and voicemails asking for a Victoria - The funny things is that I m male and I don t know a Victoria! I have told these people to stop calling me and that they have the wrong number. Don t worry a lawsuit will soon be in place for harassment since I have recordings of all communications.

They called me repeatedly and at some point i just answered and although I didn t really understood what they wanted, they started asking for my personal information. At that point I clearly told them that I m not gonna reveal any of it. They hung up. Better for them
I get several calls a week from this company which I ignore. As it seems they have first names they must be getting this information from phone companies selling lists on. Only my friends, family and phone company know my number AND name.

It's a 'clever' automated call, very sneaky and creepy about a "local energy adviser in my area" - not at all human with a bunch of questions and responses that are easy to spot if you know how. Older people will def be taken in - horrible development of technology!
Scammers pretending to be HMRC, saying arrest warrant issued, phone number disconnected, bank accounts blocked, driving licence & passport cancelled, police on their way to home address (which the scammers don’t know). Do not provide any truthful info - lie as tho your life depends on it (your finances are under threat) as they will try to get you to agree to paying £987.26 (over £1000 gets bank fraud dept involved). Just received a call from this number which said I had a text message but the message was garbled. Phoned our friend who was in a London hospital thinking it was him and he had sent by accident a text message to our landline which resulted in this call. It must be the message service operated by BT but doesn t appear to work very well.
