This number keeps calling my mobile. If I'm quick and answer before they ring off no one speaks at the other end. Very inconvenient and I can imagine it would worry others...

had a missed call so checked the number. turns out to be somebody saying they are mostly from the DWP, they seem to want to offer you options to access your pension etc. they obviously are NOT the DWP.

Caller claimed to be from British Gas. Repeat calls from someone with a very strong accent who was very persistent in obtaining renewal information and bank details. I was very suspicious and do not trust them.

No idea who this is. Has an mms message to download but as I don't know who it is have not downloaded and have now reported as spam.

He said I m sorry for the mistake - but am I aware of the cost of funerals. I asked if he was aware of how the TPS worked and he said yes, but he would still like to discuss the cost of funerals, is that s ok?. Indian "gentleman", claims he is from Microsoft. Says my computer is downloading spurious files. I asked him how he knew it was my computer, he said by the machine ID. When I asked what this was he quoted "888DCA....." which is NOT a machine ID, it is a standard Microsoft code related to zip-files, which I told him. The call was terminated immediately...!

I did not recognize this number, so I decided to let it go to voicemail. Needless to say they did not leave a message. Looking at the previous comments, it was the correct thing to do by ignoring the call. My motto is ... if it is important/legit then they will leave a message.
