Phone rang, no answer the other end apart from a beep, then the caller hung up. Sounds automated. This number going on the blocked list.
they called twice this morning, claiming to be from BT....I am on a studio line of a radio station...i offered to put them on air and discuss it....guess what...they hung up !
They phoned me at 7.00am - it woke me up. The only person who calls me on my home phone is my brother, and at that time in the morning I thought he may be in trouble (ie fallen, ill ). I raced down stairs - half awake - and could of had an accident myself. I don't know what they wanted because as soon as I realised it was a nuisance call I just gave a full abusive response.

I have had a call from this number again today. Told them before to take my number of there list. When they answer the phone they say you must report for a hearing check up straight away. When I asked why they said I had worked in industry. When I said that I worked in an office as admin they hung up. They still keep calling.

This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.

Recieved a call on my mobile saying this was O2, during the call now gave me a lnumber of my personal details. Also sent a text with a numerical code during the conversation which came up in the O2 column of messages. He discussed a new deal which all sounded very plausible (and something he could set up today). He said his name David and calling from First Direct and ringing about the injuries I received in the accident I had last year . . cut him short to ask him for his mothers phone number, he ask why.
