This number has called me 5 times over the last few days. I'm sure it is a scammer and have blocked the number without actually speaking to the caller.

claimed to be the Microsoft engineer! said that I had been having my details stolen from my computer. I said I had not got a one. he said I must have a pc or laptop or something...

PPI scam wanting info over the phone credit cards bank loans morgages persistant for details aksed him to send info through email address he said he couldn t has there anybody been caught out by this scam

Another PPI firm - this time they used a local number (allegedly) to call from.

These people repeatedly call phishing for information stating that they are calling about a car accident. Maybe some poor souls they call talk about an accident they may/ may not have had and pass on personal details. It appears to be a scam and the only way to avoid them calling is to block their number. They called my number >10 times over past 6 months and have never taken it off their system. FYI I was never in a car accident.

This number has been ringing me on the hour for up to 12 hrs for the last 3 days!! I have a phone that will not except calls from anyone unless they are on our contact list. But still frustrating as phone will ring just once each time

Finally answered & a lady called Lisa, was telling me that as I had never made a call out on my sky protection I was eligible for a saving to become a platinum Customer & Pay £150 for 3 years of protection instead of what I m currently paying. She new my full name & address & said I banked with Halifax but they would have to Pay it as a one off payment by debit or credit card. This guy attempts to buy your items on gumtree but only from women. When he realised I wouldn t meet him in person but had my boyfriend arrange it he became abusive and refused to buy the item then spent the rest of the day being aggressive via texts and emails. Please stay away and report this guy if he contacts you.

Caller claimed I had been involved in a car accident, I know I have not. I asked him who he was repeatedly, he would not say and finally put the phone down.

Phoned me up to sell magazine subscriptions- very very forceful, almost demanding my bank details in order to get a cookbook for a pound.Would be a problem for vulnerable elderly people
