I have had several calls from this and other numbers,they always hang up when I answer.This only started after I went online,a few days ago,to get some car insurance quotes.Silly me!I gave out personal information to several firms,now I am getting nuisance calls.So,this number may well be insurance industry related.My advice,never give your telephone number to someone you do not know and trust.

SCAM - Received a call from their number. Computer female voice telling me my MasterCard had been used to make a payment to a foreign country for £600. That's when I hung up. This appears to be a fax machine which has got my number and all I get is repeated attemps to send me a fax. This happens regularly as the fax is on auto send. Is it possible to tell the company?? They may need to reprogramme their machine to get the messages to the correct destination.

Fake Amazon call. The number seemed to be very local (neighbours have a similar one) so could be piggybacking on a real number
Called me twice within 10 minutes without leaving a voicemail message
Claim to be from BT Openreach about issues with our router. Shame we’re not with that company. She kept insisting that even though we weren’t with them she needed to tell us about these issues with her router. When I challenged her about the fact that it was a scam and how could she live with herself and that BT had nothing to do with our router and couldn’t see our router she stuck to her guns that she was legit and needed to tell us what was happening with our router. I just hung up.
