After trying to get my elderly father to pay £900 for a mattress and being found out, they then contacted my father to say the mattress was ready for delivery. When being told that the order had been cancelled they said "You cant do that". Well actually you can. Under the Distance Selling Regulations if you order something without actually seeing it you are entitled to cancel the order if you change your mind within 14 days of the order being placed.

Well, How interesting. I work in Corporate Security very closely with the Barclays Information Security team and this was astonishing. Bought a hob from ao using a credit card. Got call from this number saying they required my bank details in order to process my order. This is two completely separate payment methods which leads me to believe I would of been landed with a dd for unwanted cover had I been foolish enough to hand over the requested details. Beware people. Underhand tactics at play here.

Took a call from an abrupt Andrew who wanted to discuss my endowment policy. I don t have, and have never had, an endowment policy. When I told him this and challenged him choosing my number randomly, he told me I would have answered Yes to a question on a telephone survey. When I disagreed, he hung up.
