This number rang today at 08:45am. I work shifts so was very annoyed at being woken up and answering the phone only to find out it was one of these scam calls. Put the phone down on them immediately.

The message advises that HMRC wish to speak with you and it may be in your interest to appoint a Solicitor. Then asks that you call back. I called back and an Asian male answered with "This is Her Majesties Revenue Control, how can I help you" I hung up.
