My ee account has been billed £9 in total for two texts from this number so I asked ee to block third party charges on my account but I wont be getting my 9 quid back as I have to contact the company who billed me for that WopWappy. I had an accident year before last and was insured with Aviva. The called said they were from Aviva and knew this my car and name and Excess. Said claim now reached stage of getting compensation for my time off work and they could get me compensation in the next few weeks now the car damage and liability had all now been agreed. I only realised something wasn't quite right, when they didn't know the date of the accident. Required a card payment of the excess to release payment.

Received many calls from this number in one day. Each time we answer, silence. When returning the call it goes straight to playing music, no recorded voice or anything. Worried this may be a scam to get you to spend loads on calling them!

We had a call from "Virgin Media" to say there was a fault with our new router which was replaced last week. I was only half awake so went through quite a process before I twigged - how did they know we had just had a new router fitted - it was the fact they new that which made me think it was real. Someone is working for Virgin who must be giving this information and telephone number
