Just had a call from this no - answered and they hung up!!
FrI was caught out by this today. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. They applied just enough pressure when the texts to change my account detail came in that I didn't have time to read them properly. Thankfully, I read them after the call and got straight on to O2 to change

Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Gave me the 0845 number, and told me to call for a box to plug in to the phone for ?1 something per month. Been called by these people 4 times this week .they say their a finance business looking for someone. the guy seemed nice and professional but gave me the wrong details. so i dont know if their legit or not.(i did'nt share any of my details with him though just to be safe).
A very polite girl called today and told me the company name and phone number (the second time I asked). They are Solar Therm, based in Basildon, seem genuine (I ve just been onto their website) but since I never deal with companies who cold call me on my TPS registered number, they are on a loser. I will now report them to the TPS who will smack their wrists!
