Many report this number as being Scottish Power... But what I got was a silent call typical of any scammer. And, as I don t have a Scottish Power bill owing I blocked the number! - I say it s a fake/fraud/phishing attempt.
Recorded message in a poor quality computerised voice with an American accent claiming that I need a new IP address and router, as mine have been compromised by "several countries". This number should be a landline from areas of Cannock, Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills and Hednesford - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck.
