This number has tried to call me twice now - each time making me leap up from some other activity and hence a damn nuisance. Tried to call back and get a continuous tone. Absolutely despise these people who intrude on my life.

SCAM- keeps calling me warning me of legal action for things i have not done. could be targetting me because of my brain injury and me being listed as a vulnerable person. they are being very unprofessional with phonecalls and are using a text to speech device instead of putting an actual human on the phone. they are clearly trying to get me to phone back and give them sensitive information regarding my finances. this number should be blocked by anyone that can do so

REALLY HALIFAX. IGNORE THE PEOPLE SAYING THIS IS A SCAM THEY ARE 100% WRONG. Turns out my emergency credit card had a fraudulent payment on it. I was suspicious so I called the number on the back of my bank card to be safe but yes this is 100% Halifax’s fraud number. Indian callers are using this number to scam people - acting as BT officials and urging the people they call to switch on their computers so they can either fix your internet connection or help you get rid of a virus. Being extremely PC-savvy, I challenged the caller, at which point they disconnected the call.
Declined the call because was flagged as potential spam. Then I Googled it to find out that it didn't register on Google as a known number. Super suspicious. So I'm blocking the number. Anyone wanting to contact should have my email address.

SCAM Called me at around 1100 hrs (Tue) on 27.7.2021 on my UK landline. Pre-recorded message read out by a lady, claiming that there has been some illegal activity going on with my internet, unless I contact them (e.g. by pressing '1' for .....'2' for .....) immediately, my internet will be shut down within the next 24-48 hrs. I just hanged up.
Scam! Robotic voice from the federal crime bureau, or something similar. Apparently putting my national insurance number on hold, probably until I paid a fee of some sort.
