Just some info for you. By law, if you receive any more than four phone calls from the same number, it is harassment and can be reported to the police. I had another number calling me up to six times a day and rang the police to see what can be done. I have just received two phone calls from this number and have not answered. Having read the comments....number now blocked.

this number purports to be from an insurance company called ICS. I get calls from ICS from different cities around the UK a number of times per week. its a nuisance.

Claimed to be from TALKTALK technical dept, asking whether i had problems with internet. I'm aware of these scams so played along for a while and it was the usual thing; they get you to look up Windows Eventviewer , see the number of 'errors', say 'Oh my God', then tell you it can be fixed by doing what they say. The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.
