Pretended to be from Virgin Media to resolve my broadband problem, I am not with Virgin Media, I hung up.

Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

Just got a call from this number, claiming they were Amazon Business and that our prime service is suspended. They need a payment of £95.00 to correct it. Sounds very 'Scammy' to me.

SCAM came up as amazon re prime membership. On phoning amazon they confirmed they would never telephone their customers re payments. Message sounded reasonably genuine but its a scam so dont press anything, just hang up

Incoming call purporting to be from VISA saying money had been taken out of my account and transferred to an international gambling organisation. This is a scam.

Said they were calling to offer free inspection of loft insulation because the Government has designated some of the old stuff as "irritant". I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. Suspected scam, mis-spells Royalmail.uk using a 'capital' R. If clicked, goes to royalmail.track-me.link, which then asks for £2.99 to 'proceed the shipment towards your address'. Then asks to 'Book a Redelivery' (redelivery? Haven't tried once yet!) which will almost certainly ask for card details for payment. OBVIOUS SCAM. IGNORE!!!!

I received a t/c from (004)91113279026 today 27/4/22, at 13.56hrs to my L/L. I answered without saying anything, and the caller who said nothing, hung up. I live in the Hove area of Sussex. Given that the Phone Number Localisation 091113279026 is New Delhi, India, it is probably a scammer.

This is fraud. A message on my answer machine said they were from my bank and two large transactions were coming off my account. A quick check of my banking app proved this to be nonsense.
