Sevaral calls over the past week, silent call. I phone back as I thought it was a cusomer but it was recorded message about Motor Assist or something similar. Called again today, my wife answered they said I had been involved in a accident. I was out in my van at the time so my wife was a bit worried. It is not a landline number but a Broadband line number which has an area code to look like a landline number.

The guy on the other end said something about being from the Football pools company, so I m sure it was Vernons like someone else had reported (they likely have my number from joining their casino ages back I can only assume) Since I haven t used them in years no idea why they are calling since I ve never done the Football pools EVER and have no plans to! Rang me on Monday 16th June but hung up! Rang me again today 18th. Loads of strange background noises. Caller said it was BT ringing and would like to get my information updated so that they could welcome me back. When I argued his number wasn t from BT he said that he was ringing from Yorkshire. I asked again are you from BT and he hung up.
