Got yet another call today and three yesterday with the above number saying I took a loan out with Halifax in 2004 and paid it back 2008 saying they were PPI and I had money coming back to me..they were Indian . Sick of these calls all the time, they re so persistent.
This number contacts my wife's mobile, but on answering, there is no response, and the call is disconnected.

An Indian/Pakistani caller who claimed to be from the Telephone Preference Scheme. He knew my number and surname. He asked whether I was receiving unwanted marketing calls. I confirmed that I was receiving unwanted calls at which point he put the phone down.
Why can't this number be traced and the harassers be dealt with? So annoying to rush to phone only for it to be put down on you.... 3x already today.
