This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. A man called claiming to be from TPS, as I was already registered it was a ‘customer verification call’ ( never had to do this before nor is it on the TPS website) claimed my registration only applied to local calls only, he could apply the block to international calls, I questioned him and he bacame aggressive, would not answer my questions and came out with the same spiel ‘customer verification call’ I hung up and have blocked the number.

Have received same call from Indian sounding Gentleman many times on different numbers all reported. Same line every time saying I am calling from BT technical and I must switch on Computer and follow his instructions. I would suggest you will upload remote software for them to hack your passwords etc if you do. I just hang up now.
