Voice message saying my Amazon Prime had expired (I do not have Amazon Prime) and a payment for £95 was being taken, press either 1 or 2 for different reasons (can't remember what they were). I think this is a scam!
Well-organised scam, claiming that internet connection to be terminated in 24 hours due to illegal activity. Obviously tied in with call received 5 minutes earlier from Kuwaiti number 09655448846 bearing similar recorded message
Someone keeps calling me from this number and they hang up. There is background noise but no-one speaks.

A phishing call claiming to be from H M Revenue & Customs
Automated call supposedly from 'AMAZON Prime' to tell me that £79.99 had been taken from my account to pay the subscription and to press 1 if it was incorrect and press 2 for something else - Needless to say that I did not press either, it is total scam.
Asked to take part in an 18 min survey about smile.co.uk. Refused.
This number just rang my phone, I said hello, they then hung up on me. Agreed with Adam that they want you to phone them back. Found out that it is a charge of 45p-62p per minute to ring back. Also found out it is an individual not a company hoping you will phone him/her back and in doing so they will make him/herself a nice monthly income at your expense.

Had a call at 1221 today, 12 Jan 17 but caller left no message, so obviously a scam/spoof/marketing call. Tried ringing the number back but got a Sky Voicemail Service. Tried calling the number again at 1530 this afternoon, only to have an automated message saying the Voicemailbox was full & could not take any more messages. "This is an automated telephone call to remind you to join a teleconference" Then hung up. No indication as to what call, or company or anything. I have no conferences to join, so assume junk.

I know HMRC will never contact me on the phone because i do have account gateway with them anyway. They can also send me a letter by post. the number showing on my phone is 0141 357 1051 Beware!

Name of company was something or other polls. Caller had a heavy Asian accent and I think he has called many times before for different companies. Said he wanted to ask me only four questions about my use of brands but his first question was to confirm my address, at which point I hung up.

Caller asked for help but would not identify themselves. Obviously reading a script. Suspect scam call.
Scam. They insisted I had asked for help with services and sent me an email to prove it. Email is blank apart from the only thing there - a button that says "Previous messages". I had no dealings with the caller previously and I know I haven't sent any emails. So it is clear that link goes to and does something fishy!!!
I'm 100% sure this is a scam call, trying to induce fear and a fast response.
