Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. I refused and challenged them; caller eventually put me onto their "supervisor" and he asked me if I understood the nature of this call from Microsoft today but I told him that I didn't believe he was and he said "OK then f**k off" and I replied "Likewise" and hung up. I think this is a scam. Message said I had made an unusual transaction on card, £300 Amazon and £1000 international money transfer. Call did not identify a specific card, so I am assuming this to be a scam. Interesting that it is a Bristol number identifiable to a location.

Received txt from 01908 238013 asking me to call 03308 084 562 with a reference No., saying I'd set up a payment for Mrs C Davidson £850 scheduled for today 20/02/2022 @ 19:15. Txt came in @ 16:07 Info from- http://www.call-charges.co.uk/03308-premium-rate-phone-numbers#one Calls from landlines are typically charged between 2p and 10p per minute; calls from mobiles typically cost between 10p and 40p per minute, but they can set the rate at whatever they like. Just delete it. Don't call them back!

Said he was phoning about how we pay our energy bill. Asked for full name,address,DOB,to confirm my identity! I held back and did not supply details as I suspected the call could be a scam. He offered to send an email (knew my email address) and then phone back. I told him to call in an hour as I was busy. No email received and he has not called back. When I checked this number on 'who called me' it made me super-glad I didn't fall for it. This is the most sophisticated scam call I have received - BEWARE !!

Scam call asking if I was involved in a traffic accident….

Scam call pretending to be Virgin Media (broadband internet). Standard scam pattern. Voices/accents from Indian subcontinent but claiming western names ("Daniel", "Robert", etc). Presumably using in-country telephone redirection service so as to appear with 0161 prefix. Claimed "We are getting errors from your internet connection." Wanted me to download Anydesk software so they could take remote control of my computer.

I received an automated call from this number 01634256271 at 12.43 on 20.01.23. The message reported two large purchases made on my account. It asked me to press 1 to stop them (which I did not do). I hung up. They haven't called back - yet. This is almost certainly a scam/con business and should be closed down.

Called on WhatsApp photo shows a male of Indian/Pakistani/Sri Lankan origin I did not answer. Fraud SCAM beware my son had his Facebook and email address hacked yesterday and this could have come from his contacts in his email.
