My elderly mum got this number of a letter about fraudulent activity on her nationwide account. Seems to be legit.
Said to be from 3 mobile. Didn't sound right so I cut the call.
SCAM RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THIS PHONE NUMBER, IN A MATTER OF A FEW HOURS. THE MESSAGE IS THE SAME AND IS WRONG IN INFORMATION. THE PERSON THAT IS PHONING FROM THIS NUMBER, DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. THEY ALSO TRIED YESTERDAY FROM A DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER.

"Bank of Scotland" left concurrently 2 text messages and a voicemail, & phoned from 0333 045 9640. 1st text said "You will shortly receive a text from Bank of Scotland Card Services to confirm recent activity on your card ending xxxx" (the actual numbers on my card). 2nd text said fraudulent purchase of £349 from Apple had been blocked. This mobile is owned by a man who goes by the internet name of Joseph Barnsley .He is a paedophilic old man who is into seducing minors on Discord into joining his roblox version of tescos, to lure them into his office and perform sexual online acts with them, often over the phone, making them moan for his pleasure.
This numkber called us around 5AM and when I checked, the number was out of service.
