Usual rubbish call asking me to confirm if I've had an accident that wasn't my fault. When I asked them to give me details, they become more aggressive and sternly ask you to confirm you have been in an accident until they finally hang up. Very irritating and very unprofessional. I've blocked the number.
Tele No 01142737373 called me to tele-market wood burners. I told them I was TPS registered you should check before tele-marketing. the response I got was that they are too busy to check so they get a third party to do it. Rubbish! they just can t be bothered and they know that TPS is totally toothless.

I have recieved a number of calls over the last few days to my work Mobile. When I answer no one speaks, but I can hear background noise suggesting an office environment.
Supposed to be from Telephone Preference Service. Confirmed address which they knew, they then asked for the expiry date of "your VISA card" and passed me on to the "Chief Manager for TPS", he asked for some more details at which point I put the phone down. It rang several times, I ignored it.

I didnt answer because it was an unknown number but they left a voicemail which sounded like a robot saying I needed to call them back with my solicitor and they threatened to push for legal actions if I delete the voicemail or ignore them

There is a post going round Facebook saying this number, purporting to be from Lloyds Bank Fraud division, is in fact scammers trying to get you to call them so they can get your private bank details from you. If in doubt, Google your bank's telephone number to get their fraud dept - don't rely on the telephone number in the letter. It may look legitimate, but it may not be.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 15137528xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI / Back on track loans / accident chasers from Liverpool. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

SCAM I am selling something on gum tree and this person has txt with a fake PayPal link asking for my details !! Say they do not have bank account to do transfer and when I questioned them or called they do not respond
They called my mums mobile looking for me to say that my life insurance was up for renewal. She told them she'd pass their number on to me. As I have never used my mums number for anything and I don't have life insurance, I know it's a scam of some sort.
Frightening my 91 years old mother-in-law with repeated calls is totally unforgiveable. Can t we do something about them?
