Called asking for someone by name, who doesn't live at this address any more. I asked, who's calling please? They repeated the name. I asked again, who's calling please? and they repeated the name AGAIN. I then said,. NO, Mr X isnt calling, you are... Who are you? to which they muttered,. "oooh someone got up on the wrong side of bed this morning, good bye". Never had a chance to find out what it was about, but based on the name asked for, and past history, it's probably to do with

SCAM call. Automated message, no introduction just I have authorised a money transfer and spent £400 on Amazon which I had not. Wanted me to press 1 to ok 2 to dispute or 3 to speak to an advisor. I hung up as it's an obvious scam. Be careful as all these ways of getting your details are sometimes convincing. Not today though !!!

Sent me a weird message asking for information, under the disguise of a being an old friend. I checked this website, this number was located in Russia (despite being a UK number). Very odd.

Called about 20 times from 8am on a Sunday morning to around 9am on the Monday morning. BT Call Guardian took care of it as the spammers/scammers will never bother to 'announce' themselves... they can't when they're using autodiallers to try and connect to as many number as possible. SCAM - Tried to convince me that they were calling on behalf of a government debt consolidation scheme. When I said I wanted to check the validity of the company, they tried to convince me that they were genuine. I pointed out to them that any genuine company would be fine for their customers to do due diligence and that the fact they were trying to stop me doing that just screamed scam. They hung up on me.

Automated message stating that foreign transactions had appeared on my bank card but did not state which bank or confirm my name or details. Went on to ask me to press '2' to cancel the transactions, so I hung up and checked the phone number out. It is unobtainable and has no ratings with you so I wrote this one. Take care. Definitely not a bank!

Claimed to be from Council Housing Association calling about reported repairs needed to my property. I was confused and asked what he meant as I am not in a council house. The voice on the other end repeated themselves, I told them again I am not in a council property and an automated AI thanked me for my time and hung up.
