Caller claimed they were calling because my Beko washing machine warranty had expired. I don t have a Beko washing machine. If the number is blocked some of these calls then get through on an unknown or withheld number. As our doctors and the hospital withhold their numbers and I have someone Ill in my household I just add annoying numbers to my directory under PITA ......aka pain in the a*** or telemarketers. I then have proof of the frequency of calls and I m aware it s them and don t answer the call. Sorry for long explanation but hopefully it might just help someone.

SCAM. Indian accent, hectic indian call centre background, typical scammers, they said they recieved word this morning from the UK government that I was in debt. They failed to provide my full name, my address, or any information as to how they got my number other than 'from the government' It's a bit funny because they tried this last month as well off a different number when the government contacted their office to get in contact with me that morning too, they know nothing but your number and partial name
I was threatened to seek a PPI claim, or have my legs broken . Unprofessional & unnerving.

SCAM / SPAM Automated number called saying “there’s a HMRC fraud investigation going on and to press 1 to be connected to the agent dealing with the case. If you don’t press 1 immediately, an warrant will be issued immediately and you will be arrested shortly” HMRC doesn’t call like that, they will write to you if they need something. Don’t fall for it. Avoid it.
This number is a scam they pretend to be from New Scotland Yard saying your account has been hacked.

Steve Star from some company offering legal advice and help. Asked if I d had an accident in the last 2.5 years or if someone in the family had. I asked him for the source of the information on me. He asked me what I meant? I said that if he was saying I had an accident , he must have some information on me and in that case, I had a right to know the source. He said " we help people , that s what we do" then he hung up - very helpful!!

Which is the first random I ve ever encountered while Internet /phone shopping I did receive a random info booklet on holidays a few months / lots of weeks before anyway this number was attached to the payment from my account the only thing I can suggest is to report the company to whomever and to contact your bank stating that a fraudulent company has your card details if you do recieve a catalog from them.
