Told her clearly that I wasn t interested, but she keeps calling back (5x in one week) even though we re on TPS. Guess they got my number from the back of yellow pages, or from Yell. (Problem is, you can t get the free advertising in Yell unless you give a landline number.) They wanted to charge £9 a week for advertising my business in a local children s play centre.

SCAM “Microsoft technical” department trying to get me to log in due to “repeated error notifications” for hacks from my pc. Wanted me to go on to webpages and download something. I kept them on the phone for 2 mins before telling them I knew it was a scam and they hung up.

SCAM Spam Fraud all the names you can think. Don't bother picking up or replying your call won't go through. Just add it to the ever increasing blocked numbers! My blocked is starting to challenge my phones contacts! I'd love to KNOW WHO it is selling my details as all of my numbers are meant to be protected & are kept out of the phone book etc. Wonderful to wake up to a fake call! Possible Scam Claimed to be from a fines collection service requesting £3k+ . No solid information or paperwork to go with claims but suggested they'd be turning up to collect on the fine shortly. Very aggressive on the phone and hung up when pushed for further information.

Just got a call from this number telling me that I had made an overpayment of £2500 on my loan that I took in 2009. Then she started asking who I bank with and if the banks are either Barclays, Santander, Netwest etc. I wasn t even in the UK in 2009 so I started asking him questions on which loan I am due to a repayment on and then he hung up!
