Fraud SCAM referred to a non-existing Amazon purchase for £400 and then stated that a new purchase for £959 may be fraudulent and to follow their instructions. Checked there was no purchase showing fro £959 and furthermore the caller ID not say which bank was involved!!

SCAM The caller claims to be from Amazon and in this call discussed my having two Amazon Prime accounts, one with an annual fee and the other with a monthly subscription. She asked whether I wished to cancel the yearly subscription. I replied yes preferring to determine the account on a monthly basis. She then said she would send a text with a code that would demonstrate she was genuinely from Amazon. Shortly I received a text from Amazon which was an OTP - one time password. Scam call concerning a PayPal account being charges etc. They have taken false telephone numbers to a new level by using a local code but leaving one digit off the number.

I answered and he hung up after saying something I didn't quite hear seemed surprised I answered I've had 4 calls from this number when trying to ring it back to see who it was unknown number response I would say scam number now blocked

Rings then hangs up. Treat as potentially dangerous, no place associated with the number.

Scan call saying that they were from my bank and that over £300 had been taken out of my account to pay Amazon. I immediately, put the phone down and checked my balance. This was alot of rubbish. Advice ignore or report but do not respond or do anything else.
