He used mobile number 07368 376860 and email [email protected] to try and scam £300 deposit from us for keys to rental property. Thank goodness I smelt a rat and asked him for proof of his owning property. He then went quiet. Also gave me Nationwide Building Society, Swindon Bank account details 07-04-36 37618798 Mr H Pike. Police and Nationwide will be informed. Got to stop this scammer now!

05 Nov 2021 - The caller initially claimed to be calling about loft insulation. On being told I was not interested in this line of discussion he refused to take no for an answer. I called off. The same person then called back immediately from an undisclosed number indicating that he knew my name and address and heaping extremely abusive language on me. Should be traced and stopped. Reply
Male voice said, ‘I saw you earlier’. I replied ‘I think you have the wrong number’ he replied, ‘Is that Rob’? I said ‘no’ it’s..... then he finished the conversation with’ I still saw you earlier’ Expect more calls for a surname, DOB or even address. Be wary as ID fraud is real

Sounded dodgy, especially since I don't have any debt and so I have no idea how these people had my number and name, you could hear other people talking in the background and it took a while for the person to start talking to me once I answered, like he wasn't there to begin with, and was connected to the call after I had answered, which seems suspicious.
