When challenged with questions such as “what bank is calling me?” The person was unable to answer and ultimately terminated the call. I knew it was a scam, but just like to waste their time as much as they waste mine.

No 02089812271 Claimed to be from BT saying they were calling about our BT broadband when pushed they asked for a MR Haslam. We do not have a BT provided broadband service. I presume it was the start of some form of scam. The caller was a female with a foreign accent so I guess this may be a spoofed london number and the call may have originated from abroad!!

Cold call received mid-morning. Disrespectful, pushy and unprofessional. This company calls me asking for my dad. He has passed away and the only company that have my number and his name are Co op funeral care. Or lack of. Asked them to stop calling, they are rude and take no notice.

Called me and implied that they were operating on behalf of my estate agent and this was the 'next step' in the purchase of my new property. Tried to get my address details claiming that it was all part of 'data protection' - when I said 'heck no - I'm not giving you any details' then they doubled down on the the claim that they were operating on behalf of my estate. Very upsetting.
