Been getting calls from this number over last few days so called them back. First a woman answered, seemed like it was the last thing she wanted to do and told me the line was bad so she would call me back. No call back so I called again. A man called Joshua stated he was from Lotto Social and would like to offer me 5 free Euro Millions lines for tomorrow night (24/04/2015). I told him it wasn t something that would interest me but thanks for calling and could he make sure I don t get anymore calls. He said

Just received a call from an Indian sounding chap called Charles . Asked me to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Gave me the 0845 number, and told me to call for a box to plug in to the phone for ?1 something per month. I asked him to hold on for a moment, muted the call, put it on speaker and just left the phone on the desk while I carried on with my work. 0148447200 called me at 08:38 rang twice and hung up

I did not recognize this number, so I decided to let it go to voicemail. Needless to say they did not leave a message. Looking at the previous comments, it was the correct thing to do by ignoring the call. My motto is ... if it is important/legit then they will leave a message.

I have received quite a few calls from this number. I decided to phone it back, and there was an automated computer voice (sounded a bit American) which said "I m sorry, an application error has occurred. Goodbye." Obviously a scam of some sort. I ve saved the number in my phone as Spam Caller , so I ll be sure not to answer it in future.

Called multiple times.. told them that the number they were calling is a registered emergency services phone and not to call again and to take the number from their call list or police would be notified.. Refused to do so unless I answered questions.
