Called this morning came up on my phone as suspect spam didnt answer

Amazing how I managed to guess they were Currys PC World. <rolleyes> Second call today, from different numbers... no doubt I'll get another one soon. Block, block, block!!!

SCAM pretending to be a BT engineer as you have an unsecured BT Internet line gets you to download software to get access to your bank details. Knows you name, landlines number, address and postcode

It was a recorded message saying "this is your bank. three withdrawals have been made on your card this morning...." and went on to list various sums. No name of bank, no name of card or card holder. The number used is not listed by my bank. Very suspicious.

Then the usual press 1 to speak to the next available Scammer. Needless to say, there was NO money taken. They did not ask for anyone in particular and never mentioned any Bank

Pretended to be from D&amp;G home-appliance insurance. After the spiel he asked for our bank details and said it was impossible to send documentation through the post. I would guess that many people have been taken in by this.
