He persisted to try and get confirmation of my name each time I asked him to identify himself. After three attempts and clearly not getting anywhere with me he put the phone down

Silent call, answered but they hung up straight away. Possible scam call

TalkTalk claim them but don t have records of their calls. They managed to cancel a transfer to another company without my permission. Talk Talk are prohibited from contacting you while a transfer is going through, other than by letter. I think this is an iffy way round the rules. They don t use TT main 0800 telephone number. No records kept. Trading standards next I think

Caller knew my surname, when I asked where he got my number he said from a data base. When I continued to question him he became angry and told me to stop wasting his time!!
