Someone somewhere was or is being scammed by some fake investment groups and it is sad, this experience is harder than many people think. I was in that situation a few weeks ago, this fake website contacted me through my business email and we chatted and spoke on the phone numerous times until i was deceived to invest in their company. Number has called 4 times in a week, they always hang up. Lots of noise in the background so clearly a call centre with nothing useful for me. I see this as harassment calling as they never bother to talk !

Claims to be from Talktalk and has my Customer number but unable to quote my security password. VERY persistent and calls me about three or four times a month. A complete PITA and I wish they would die slowly and painfully from some disfiguring disease.

Phoned once. Answered it but didn t say anything. Girl asked for me by name. I made enough noise that she knew someone was there and waited a minute then hung up. Half an hour later, a man called. Joe. I said "You re coming up as a nuisance call on my phone. Why is that?". He identified himself as Joe from a company called Clear Answer working on behalf of EE.
