Have been calling for approx 18 mnths, first started calling 4/5 times a day, dropped to once a week until eventually once a month or so. Very persistant, been calling for over 18 months.

You can use Truecaller to block calls. You will get notification that the number tried to call but when blocked it doesn t actually ring so you are not disturbed. You can pay by setting up direct debit and then cancel so not automatically taken following year. Don t take renewal quote...go on to AA site and get quote. Will be lower than renewal. Some organisations ie NHS get discount. Be smart. Play them at their own game.

Rang my phone 4 times in an hour and when I picked up the line there was no one on the other end of the line.

I have been receiving several calls a week from this number to my mobile phone, home number and office number. They either say they are from "Trading Banks" or a market research company in Taiwan. Either way, you know it s a scam. I like to have fun with them. They have all been Filipino until today where the caller was of African descent. Received a call from this number so once off the line i called it back to get a voice message saying you had been called by a sky rep and to give my number to opt out of receiving these calls so hopefully they will now stop

Seem to have now blocked 0843 980 12xx where xx so far is anywhere between 01 to 51 - 47 just the latest. Last time i answered it from one of these numbers there was nobody there. Wonder if phone numbers of the call centre staff are also on their autocall list.
