Silent call - rang early morni9ng and when I picked up there was no voice, nothing. I said hello, but there was no reply - said it again and then the line went dead. Few people use our landline these days, and only numbers we recognise (family and friends) so I suspect this was spam.
Recorded message, allegedly from my bank (unnamed), reporting suspicious transactions and asking me to press numbers. My bank confirmed that the alleged transactions had not been made.

Normally they offer to renew at a discount if you give them your card details. NEVER give out personal details or bank details to anyone who phones you. With the sounds of a call centre in the background a lady with a foreign accent said "Hello". I didn't speak (I never respond to call centre calls) and after saying "Hello" a couple of times more she hung up.
