SCAM Silent the “Tom” says he’s from Green Eco Centre regarding faulty loft insulation in my postcode area….carries on to say we need an assessment then tells me we may not qualify after the free survey is carried out & will have to pay for a spray coating on the underside of roof! The scam comes when checking some details he wants to know how to spell my surname (it’s not a hard one). I asked him to spell it to me & I would confirm if he got it right…..surprise surprise the line went dead…

I was called just now by a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Openreach and that she believed I should be getting download speeds of over 40mbs. She asked me to do a speed test which I did and got 19mbs. I asked how I would know she was genuinely from Openreach. She handed me over to her supervisor. He tried to convince me he was genuine and asked my press Ctrl Windows buttons on my keyboard so he could improve my internet connection speed. I again challenged whether he was from BT Openreach. H

01615070009 this number called 14th Jan, 16th Jan, 2 calls today 17th Jan. No message left. Called number as thought it might be important, recorded message says nobody available to pick up call but holding me with music! They do not identify themselves which alerts my suspicions. Almost immediately I am called back and male caller asks for James, I am female. They are calling about the vehicle collision "James" was involved in. So you be the judge. Classic "involved in an accident that wasnt your fault" I get calls from this number and several iterations of it a week. This was from a lady called Rose. They always have information of an accident I never remember having myself!
This caller claims to be the PPI Team but is just another one of Mr Lee Paul Mellors companies. He holds 7 appointments at 7 active companies, has resigned from 4 companies and held 18 appointments at 18 dissolved companies. Clearly this looks odd!!! I tried calling number back but it asked me to phone a code--- Needless to say I did not call code!! It was an Indian sounding gentleman and I suspect is a cold caller.

SPAM Has rang me 6 time in 3 hours. I answer, after a few seconds it connects to a busy sounding environment then they hang up. On the 6th call they said it was Sky calling and then they hung up immediately. Irksome!

SCAM Got this text saying it was from llyods and that I paired a device. Said to click a link if it was not me. I didn't pair any device and I have NEVER had a llyods account. A google search does come back with the number linking it to India and I have been getting some calls from India in the last month or so. Obviously I never answer these calls.
