SCAM - fake “HMRC” automated call
Some foreign rude person calls you about your Microsoft computer probably to collect personal information or get you to make a payment for something that doesn t exist. BE AWARE
Call from this number - automated message claiming to be HMRC informing me of a tax fraud case in my name - press 1 to progress etc. Potentially dangerous.
Nuisance call, no identity and nobody on the line. Probably automatic dialler.
Calling Sapphire on this number is a cost trap. You hold on for several minutes whilst an automated message chips on and on @ 15p a minute and then when it is answered and you state that you are chasing payment their standard response is that the cheque to settle the Voucher claim will be posted next Monday. This has happened to me on a total of 7 times now. I ve received 2 payments of £20 and £50 but I ve still not got back my £79.99 fee plus being charged around £15 in phones calls. I keep getting annoying calls from this number. I picked it up but there was no sound at all..
Robot caller demanding you call them back. Looking the number up reveals that it belongs to a very legally dubious debt collector who will try to stick you with a debt whether it s yours or not.

They called me several times and i decided to answer it today and they told me that they from amenisty international(human right)as i wanted to ask more question the line cut off.Later on i googled amenisty international and i couldn t find that number and i became suspicious.

When called the message claims that it is a company called Best Comparisons Ltd. The call is about funeral plans, website www.bestcomparison.co.uk Suite A First Floor 138 Mainstreet Gibraltar No record of this business on Companies House website. Possibly fraudulent.

Despite being ex-directory and TPS registered, these cold-callers had my name but were after more information, before they could tell me if I qualify for whatever they are peddling - spray foam insulation this time. Ended the call and reported them to TPS - I recommend anyone to do the same.

PPI claim people.. the guy said we have sent you a claim pack, then changed his mind and said have you... errrrr.... have you ever had a ppi claim.
Called me at work did not answer, tried calling back was on hold for over 10 minutes. No voicemail left more than likely cold call.
I received a call from this number today from someone claiming to be NHS Test and Trace but there was no way of verifying who the individual was so I was not willing to share personal information with him. If it is an NHS number then maybe they should send a text beforehand so the recipient knows the identity of the call. This is really important as there are so many phone scams going round and this was in relation to Covid19 where a lot of people feel vulnerable and at the mercy of the NHS.

Foreign accent called me saying they were from Direct Mobile company. When I told them I was going to end the call and report them, he said; Oh, why you speak like that ma'am? And started to abuse me before hanging up.
