The person told me they were from sky and it was regarding my internet connection . I told them I would not give out my passwords or be clicking on any links in my computer as too many scammers claiming to be from this company and said if I need to talk to sky I will phone them myself. They phoned me saying they were from BT and trying to stop marketing calls (Like a kind of international Telephone Preference Service) and tried to get get my card details out of me. They read out my name and address to me then asked for the expiration date on my debit card so they could "verify" my details. I gave them a false one. They then asked for the "Reference" number of the card the big number along the top. I asked them to verify my BT account number (I m on Virgin Media) but they did nit see
