Missed the first call. Caller rang from this number but stated 'Sheffield' on my phone. Same number then rang back and was a call centre asking about Carphone Warehous...
automated voicemail advising HMRC, stating i was being investigated for fraud and if I didn t respond they would issue a warrant for my arrest.
Indian accent saying from BT. Warning I had a virus on my broadband. Tried to get me to share screen. Hung up when I said how could I be sure who they were.

Getting scammed by this company was the worst nightmare that happened to me early this year. I wish I had done enough research before engaging. Maybe the situation with them would have been different. I was so naïve and did not have enough information I needed to know about the whole online investing scenario. Their phoning mobiles "about their mobile phone insurance", and claiming that the number has been obtained by "market research". Utter rubbish - number has been mine for over 12 years and is purely for emergency family contacts. Not given out to anyone else.

This number rang my mobile today. Caller was male, but the line very crackly, so I was unable to catch what they were saying. Quality of the line makes me think it was being rerouted from elsewhere in the world. They haven't rung back so I can only assume it was a phishing type call. I have blocked it.
