This is a company that say they are a "Microsoft Certified Company", and that you have errors and malware on your computer. They then try to get you to go to www.ammyy.com, so that they can ostensibly "sort out" your problems by connecting to your computer but in reality they are trying to look for financial gain, i.e. passwords, credit card details or bank details.

Left two messages and asked to speak to a relation that has never lived here. I rang company and they asked if I had the same surname, told them I didn t, they asked if he had ever lived here, then asked for my home phone no. Gave it to her and she said that it had been deleted, I asked if they had my address, lady got very rude and told me not to worry about it anymore and then put the phone down. Why she should be rude to me I don t know. It my address that will have the bad debt attached to it.

These people claim to be from Sky and say they are reducing your sky protect premium. They are not, they are not endorsed by Sky and the service they are offering is extemely suspect, don t fall for their scam and tell them where to go!!

They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below.
